San Francisco-based AngelList Talent has acquired Prospectify, a Tempe tech startup, to bolster its efforts to match startups with talent.
Prospectify, which helps sales teams identify and connect with qualified leads, will have its tech and team integrated into AngelList to do the same type of work, but reimagined for job seekers.
Prospectify founder and CEO Noah Spirakus said he wasn’t looking to sell his company, but after working with AngelList for almost a year, he realized it was a good match.
“I think it was the perfect parallel,” said Spirakus, who is now the AngelList Talent product manager for the data team. “The full premise is how do we use this fancy data for other opportunities to only talk to people that matter. Candidates are getting flooded with recruiter calls, and none of them are good matches. How do they find the way through that noise
