Delta Development Team, Inc. – Ukraine armed forces (UAF) are deploying Delta Development Team APRU portable blood bank systems onto the field in Ukraine. The use of the DDT APRU has become a key element of tactical medicine training allowing blood transfusion at the pre-hospital stage in the field.
Volunteers-instructors in tactical medicine organized the fourth training for the military on blood transfusion skills at the pre-hospital stage.
According to statistics, one of the most common causes of death of military personnel at the front is blood loss. That is why the volunteers decided to teach as many military personnel who already have a professional medical education as possible to transfuse blood.
