A Tempe cybersecurity firm has received $8.2 million in investment for development of new technologies and more hiring with a Valley firm leading the funding round.
Cyr3Con, which uses artificial intelligence modeling on a platform designed to predict cybersecurity attacks, was funded by investors led by Phoenix-based Pivotal Group.
Other investors included Germany-based Trumpf Ventures GmbH, San Francisco-based Hike Ventures, Colorado- and India-based 3Lines Venture Capital and DF Enterprises.
The money will fund new software developments as well as aid hiring of a planned 16 people during the next two years.
